synergie interior lights
My interior lights have stopped working.The boot one work when you open the boot.But the other doors nothing happens apart from the door card ones red and white.
be sure the switch on the lamp unit itself is set to operate on door open.
Most of these switches can be set to ON/off/door.
Try the switches located in the A-pillars.
These are dead simple make-switches that closes when the door opens and provides the negative earth path for the interior lamps.
Often the self-tappeing screw that holds the switch is more or less rusted away, thereby breaking the earth current path to the switch.

What is more common though is that the interior light terminals have melted and no longer make contact, im speaking from experience here! before you go in too deep pull the panel down with the light and clock in it in the front of the car and have a good look at the connections, if i mess abouit with mine they do work but as soon as i let go of them they stop again! im in the process of wiring my own switches in place of the citroen ones, i have tried getting hold of secondhand but all the ones i find breaking are either already sold or dont work
