Winter Pack

Post by ACTIVE8 »

If an Xantia has the "winter pack specification" what does it have in addition to one without it?

Maybe lucky if there was such a thing, for heated washer bottle and heated headlamp washers, heated mirrors maybe?

UK models … certainly heated front seats and mirrors.
Maybe ground lights in the mirrors, fog lights. :?
Cold places … things like battery warmers and diesel heaters. :?

Headlamp washers on the bumpers and heated seats.
Nothing additional to the running gear though!

The full winter pack for UK models was headlamp wash, heated seats, heated windscreen washer nozzles and washer fluid level warning light. My VSX has it and it all still works :D

Was the heater connection for washer nozzles, in the scuttle area near the right hand corner of the windscreen? Asking because there's a small blanked off wiring plug just there.

Thanks for the enlightenment. :D I had a look but there were no "female pink bits" (as you put it). It's all grey, with dual green infeed wires (one appears to be an earth as it has a yellow band) and has two pins.

Overall though, I think it's got to be the one. Heated washer nozzles! I'd have never dreamed of it.

Thanks, Adam.

Ditto my Activa Winter Pack 8) too!

Not sure about how rare it is.

Although it's nice to hear that it might be. :)

Perhaps citrojim, or someone else might be able to advise on this.

My red P reg s1 Activa has heated seats and headlamp washers but cloth
seats. I think Citroen humored anyone prepared to buy one new off them!

Yes, their sense of humour and wit also shows, in the UK specification cars having the V6 excluded :x from their spec sheet.
