Well there's a few cars mentioned there that it wouldn't be OK for.

I did the decent thing and told him, he does have 100% feedback, and he obviously doesn't know about the lhm powered brakes in the hydropneumatic cars.

But yes, it's a misleading title there!

He does say that it is not for hydraulic cars so perhaps it is just what it says - DOT4 brake fluid - rather tham LHM or LDS.
Unless he has changed his info in response to your message to him deian.

Looks like a bottle of Citroen-branded brake fluid... What's misleading about that? 8)

It does look like that he has changed the description now, as a few hours back, the hydraulic bit didn't exist, and he had a list of cars including one's that didn't take DOT 4.

Glad he did change it!

he replied to me thanking for my advice, so that where the confusion lies, it was misleading as he said it would be suitable for ALL cars, and had listed all citroen models ebay offers, including xm, xantia, bx, sm, etc

he does have 100% feedback and took my advice gracefully, we don't want to see brake fluid in lhm resevoirs do we, although the chances of that happening would be rare.

imagine the horror of someone with a xantia who didn't know that it can't run conventional brake fluid, what would be the consequences for the guy selling the brake fluid "suitable" for a xantia?

Maybe not, Jim and I found automatic transmission fluid in the LHM tank of the Xantia we dismantled for parts not so long ago  .

That's commonly enough done here, with many outlets wanting over $20/litre for LHM. Not so potentially dangerous compared to using brake fluid in LHM-specific applications.
