I've had one of my two flip keys pinched (long story) I thought about buying a replacement off ebay - like this one:

They say the blade needs to be changed. Can the key which just unlocks the door without turning off the alarm be used for that? If so, how do you swop them. Some advice from someone whose done it would be appreciated. Then presumably a dealer needs to reprogramme the new key?

Hmm, not too sure about this but IIRC 'Wheeler' posted a while ago that later keys can't be re-programmed. If however they can you'll need to find someone with a Lexia/ELIT to programme the key for both the immobiliser and alarm functions, to do that you'll also need to have the code card.
