That white one looks like a better investment than money would be in a bank. :P

Would it be possible if you see it parked up to put a note to contact the Citroen owners club?

Would be good to get one that's running at the odd show.

Here's a couple more pics of my Visa'a

This one I've had for about 8 years ish but is too far gone really to do anything with, it's rear panels have gone as well as the roof, bulkhead, arches sils, you name it it rotten. It looks good on the outside though.

Image

This one I picked up the other day, it's solid in all the right places including roof, rear panels. It need a tidy around the black areas one rear arch and the doors but is solid.

Image

It should go through mot without too much of a problem, engine runs spot on.

What an interesting thread!.

The only rare Cit Ive seen up here on anglesey, is a White CX 22 TRS an ole biddy drives, and she can barley see over the dash - but is not afraid to put her foot down..

Not seen this GTi Visa myself here, but was a car I did admire when I had my spait of Visa D's... A C reg one and a D reg one... Both 4 speed, the Brown D reg one would go off the clock at 100 mph!!!!!!! Good ole XUD unit!

Ill have to watch for the black GTi... Deian, he must know what he's got - they are that rare if he didn't know what it was - he wouldn't have it - I guess!

I believe there was a black gti 115ch type there a couple of years ago but is now sat in someones barn.

The 115ch has a thickish stripe down the side with 115ch under the wing mirrow, that type has black interior instead of grey and central locking and electric windows.

They only made both the 105ch and 115ch for about 2 years so not many were ever bought.

Rarest Cit I have seen up here is a 6 wheel visa van, very cool looking thing.

hi, long time since ive been on there, was actually looking for ZX parts heh.

Feel free to ask me anything about Visa GTi's, ive had god knows how many and I was wondering where that red one was sold to so hi there "visagti" heh.

These days I only have my competition one which was originally a Group N spec rally car thats been round Europe. The last 5 or so years I have sprinted and hillclimbed it with the odd track day. Its all fully striped out, caged, perspex, cut out panels, 168bhp BX 16v lump, quaife limited slip diff, slicks and so on

http://www.visagti.com is my website, need to upload some more pics really, got billions of the things! Ive not competed this year as ive been using the money to buy (far to!) expensive suspension etc for it.

If anyone needs spares then please drop me a mail as I have quite a few. I have a set of 4 alloys I need to move asap due to lack of space, think I had 16 side skirts at one point lol!

Few pics of mine here

Hi Darren long time no speak

Good to see you still have the car and enjoying it.

The red one is better than I thought it would be to be honest, it starts and runs no problem.

List of bits to do at the moment are

rust on both rear wheel arches but not a lot - 4 patches should sort it out, the lower lips are all still intact

rust and small holes on top of the doors - I have spare doors and panels so have to decide to cut and shut or replace but the main part of the doors are ok so I'll probably repair and keep the good doors as spare.

Brakes need new rear cylinders which I have and I'm going to change the front discs and pads as I have a new set of those lying around as well.

Bodykit needs a spray - pity I can't get the red ones now so will have to paint the whole lot.

The rear light are playing up, with a bit of luck this won't take a great deal to sort

Petrol gauge isn't working but I have some spares so will swap first them have a look at the tank

Apart from that I've had it running on the drive each day to get it going a bit ready for the emmisions test on the MOT

The main bits that go the sunroof and rear panel are fine no rust at all, the bulkhead has started to go at the edge but no holes are causing any problems, it just needs a good tidy under the bonnet.

Think I'm going to get it running over christmas then run it until the summer then probably sell it to sort my main one out.

I did sell the good white one because of lack of space but bought it back a short while ago, it's basically a shell at the moment with no dorrs panels, engine, wiring or anything really.

Hi everyone, first post....

I've always loved the idea of a Visa GTi since Russell Bulgin had one on long term at Motor back in the mid 80's. He loved it!

Deian, I live in Ruthin, so if your estate agent wants to sell the black one, I'm definitely interested. And if that red one is up next summer, ditto!

Look forward to hanging round here some more!
