Do you live in Scotland?

Post by vince »

Its all requests tonight.... :P

In a couple of weeks me and the family are going on holiday to Scotland....

Tummel Valley to be precise..near Pitlochry.

I wanted to know if anyone lived near there incase i needed any help with garages or mechanical problems.

Im in the AA and of course trust my car implicitly....but as im travelling with the kids i dont want to run into trouble and not know where i can get help from up there....

Names of specialists garages etc near there?

Well it`s not exactly the wilderness my friend  Lovely place with Salmon fishing and a nice wee theatre. Don`t know any specialist garages but I`m sure there will be some with nice TOURIST PRICES  Bet your car will be fine.......my old xantia is running up and down by there every week! good holidaying mate!!

Far more important is to vist the Edradour Distillery at Pitlochry. Smallest Malt product in the world... you will get a couple of wee dramms during the guided tour...

We have made the jorney to the far north of Scotland, once or twice a year for the last 30 years or so, the last 12 or 13 an XM estate and the previous 10 in a CX Safari, , never had a problem until this year when my exhaust fell off. Fixed by the garage in Rogart for £5.00! :D
