Xantia door pressure switch location?

Post by C.J. »

Interior light and keys in ignition beep coming on randomly, sometimes, ocassionaly, when it suits itself when the door is open....drivers door btw.

I Cannot find the switch to give it a good hiding and greasing. It's obviously sticking.
WHERE is it!?

No help I'm afraid but I searched for long enough for one in my Accord. Never found it so it's just as well it never went wrong. I presumed it was magnetic and hidden well away from idle hands.

The door switch is an internal part of the door latch mechanism.

Great.

Yet ANOTHER successful attempt by the manufacturers to deny the long suffering customer the opportunity to fix things easily ourselves.

Did they change them on the MK2's then?
On Cassy, they're at the front of the door frame.
Little black plunder switch.
I had to swap all mine around as the driver's didn't want to work unless you wiggled it.
