Xantia HDi Estate- Front Pads

Me again. Are there any "need to Know" before I change the front pads on the Xantia.It's got ABS but I have never done ABS before.Sorry but at the moment I still like my 1.9 no fuss TD.

Study the route of the wear indicator wires before you start, so you can get the new ones installed in the same place. Be careful not to trap the wires in the caliper as you swing it shut.

If it's a 110 (and possibly a 90 since it's an estate) it has different brakes to the 'lesser' versions. Changing the pads is much the same, except the bottom is held in by a bolt rather than the pin, and the pads can be difficult to get out of the carrier since the anti-rattle springs hold them in well.... Still need to screw the pistons back in, and both go clockwise. ABS makes no difference
