Came out to go to work this morning and some *&%$# has smacked Cassy's driver side wing, pulling the bumper of slightly too.
Of course no note had been left, so it's probably one of the local taxis.
As you can imagine, I'm not a happy chappy!
I'm off to the scrappy tomorrow anyway, so now added to my list is a new wing and indicator.
Am I right in thinking that the hatchback and estates have the same wings?
Xantia wings...

Know where you're coming from as some lowlife is currently keying my cars
and it shows up the white primer considerably on a Xant/Xm.
(There isn't a smiley toting a big baseball bat is there?)
Estate/saloon ARE the same BUT there is a difference between s1 and s2
- I only know this from recent discovery with strut top issues on my Activa!
You live'n learn...
You'll be fine if your Xant is Mallard green metallic - every 3rd Xantia is this
colour!

Oh I've had someone key mine before too!
It's dark blue so shows up a treat.
I know S2 wings bulge out, but is there anything to prevent a S2 fitting a S1 car?
Dex (Jim's 2.1TD) has bulging wings but is a S1 car.

What's your paintcode aas I'm about to break a blue s1 estate?
Andrew
Need a o/s wing and bumper too as they've split that.
And if I find whoever did it:

Well I've just got back from the scrappy.
Managed to stab my finger with a shard of windscreen glass pretty deep, and crush my thumb with a lump hammer trying to remove a seat from an espace for a mate.
Also picked up 2 wings, a bumper, grill, bonnet, and indicator for £40
Unfortunately not the same colour (hence buying the lot), so I'm going to have a 2 tone car, navy blue with a lighter blue front
Alas the bumper hasn't got the fog light cut outs.
Is it possible to cut the panels out?

Apart from your body damage you've done well there - my local yards
would ask 40 EACH ITEM not for the lot - they're either very greedy or
all on filmstar wages...
There's no support in the solid bumper for the fogs even if you cut out the
moulded shape - it's always going to look pants and they're no loss anyhow
unless you like illuminating the hedge exactly level with the front of your
car and irritate every oncoming car blinding them so they can have a head
on collision with you...
you can tell I like them?

I use them properly, ie when it's actually foggy, but I've still yet to come up with e plausible scenario where you'd need your front fog lights on without your rears.
I suppose if you lose a headlight maybe, but it's always puzzled me why cars turn the front on then the rears.

Mine does that - it was the reverse when I bought it but inexplicably swapped over after about six months. It is programmable but I thought it was a Lexia-only thing. Just shows - perhaps I did it myself while aimlessly poking the controls.
It is legal to drive with sidelights and foglights only, infuriatingly enough.
