Cannot locate fuel primer pump xantia 1.9 td 1999

Post by xantia 1.9td 1999 »

I cannot locate my fuel priming pump. i have had a look at the thread 'know your engine thread' by TehAgent. In the pic it shows it listed on the grid as A2. I cannot locate mine? I know how it look etc. I have also followed the tube all the way back and no pump. My xantia is a facelift model 1999 1.9TD.

Any suggestions????????????????????????????????????

Could be yours perished and was letting in air, so rather than replace it, a previous owner removed it.

hi, I think mine is infront of radiator (ie engine side) on my 1999 car...

I have a feeling it is just hanging there, suspended in the fuel lines..

They don't always have one. My Xantia 1.9td (2000/W) did not have either.
If it is a problem then it is easy to fit one, I never bothered with mine though.

Howie
