Yeah - interesting test to try - and also measure the thickness of the washers if you can, the difference on mine was enough to see easily see by eye.

HA2 and Activa rear strut spheres are so close in spec that it's perfectly safe from a safety/handling point of view to swap them over - I've been running these Activa ones on the back of my car for a year now and although I'd prefer just a smidgen more damping they do actually ride better.

I bought 2 new rear spheres for my Activa the other night for £32 when i was in Auto Equip Pieces in Rutherglen the other day.

I'm away this weekend but will give them a bash sometime next week.
