It seems to be a permanant live as fan operates from rocker with ign off. It goes through a fuse.
All the connections are off the motor with this mod except the feed from that scotchlocked wire..........so it is just basically power on/off.
I suppose this means the slider is bypassed as it`s faulty?
Will get the shroud off and have a closer look. I`m actually too big to get under there
