Part help wanted from someone through Citroen Service www

Post by andmcit »

May sound like a daft request, but I can't use the plug in to view the pics
on the Citroen Service website as I use an Apple Mac!!

Could some kind soul in PC land check for me what the price/part number
would be for a 1994 Xantia 8v 2.0i non AC alternator/aux belt tensioner
please. Could this item be the very same one that's found on a 1995 TD 1.9?
It looks the same from what I can see without dismantling everything! :D

And please, I REALLY don't want to switch to using a PC just to get Citroen
part numbers or kick off another 'Mac versus Pc - which is best' thread!!

Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew,

For XU10 w/out A/C the part number etc is:

0000575118 TENSION ROLLER 60.06 GBP 70.57 GBP

The diesels are all listed with a different number (575138) - but it does look quite similar. I guess there's only one way to find out for sure if it will or won't fit......

Rightho, before I go to Citroen to order the pulley, here's another hopefully
more interesting item for you all to look up!!

I need some idea of how hideous the price is and the part numbers for the
pair of hydractive/VSX BIG diameter cross hydraulic pipes that run from the
rear suspension rams and join to the centre sphere/electrovalve body on the
centre of the rear subframe.

You're good at this challenge Richard!? Can you break the bad news gently
for me!? :( :?:

All the best, Andrew

OK, if you're sitting comfortably, then I'll begin....

Nah, just hit you with it:

O/side: 96111299 HYDRAULIC TUBE 32.53 GBP 38.22 GBP

N/side: 00005270C7 HYDRAULIC TUBE 45.93 GBP 53.97 GBP

This for a MK1 with anti-sink. There is a different part number listed for the N/S pipe for an early sinking model - but it's given as NFP, so not available anymore - presumably the later pipe will fit.

Same part nos listed for MK2 cars till RP 8056, then they change to:

N/side: 00005270LJ HYDRAULIC TUBE 22.80 GBP 26.79 GBP

O/side: 00005270LK HYDRAULIC TUBE 19.73 GBP 23.18 GBP

That's not like them at all - changing to a CHEAPER part!!!!
