Xantia 1994 1.9TD

Is it difficult to replace the sunroof tracking and works as all the plastic mechinism in the track has broken and the sunroof is sagging.

If it not to hard how do you change tracks and runners etc ?

the head linning is the chassis for the sun roof, so like the BX you have to lower the hole head linning, not sure what sort of job it is on a XANT, but its not to bad on a BX

The whole sunroof tray will drop down off the main roof easily enough; there
are only half a dozen nuts holding it in, the tray drain pipes and the electrical
attachment for the motor at the front above the rear view mirror are also
easy to undo.

That said, the real fiddle is the removal of the 'rail' of pillar cappings with the
integral lights and grab handles that hold the headlining against the sunroof
tray, and the sun visors and the b pillar trim with the adjuster of the seatbelt
anchor...

Undo that lot where you feel like you're actually dismantling the whole car
for parts, the board is then velcro'd on!
