Xsara heater blower!

Xsara heater blower!

Hi,
The blower on my 02 xsara is playing up, if i set it on full it will blow sometimes but not always. When it is working on full, it stops as soon as i try to turn it down, it wont work on any other setting. The car also has aircon, any ideas please.

If its the same unit as the Xantia/XM and it has climate control, its probably the regulator transistors on the blower motor assembly.

Could i use a blower motor out of a xantia.

Possibly, but unless anyone on here has had experience of using one, I would compare them first. They seem to be fairly universal, I know the Xantia and XM are the same but not sure about your car.
