Picasso brake pipe failure

Hi all, just joined forum.. so Hi to all, just a quick note to say my 2000 picasso had a total break failure last week and when I stuck my head underneath I found that the break pipe from that travels along the rear axle was totally rotten. it is only 12 inches that was gone, the rest of the pipe was like new, it seems that where they have clipped a wiring harness onto the pipe it holds water and causes it to rot.. just thought it was worth mentioning and might stop the same thing happening to anyone else...
