LHM Level Indicator Stuck

Post by Gregg1100 »

Hi,
My son's Xantia Series2 SX, 90BHP HDI, 1998 S,-seems to have a stuck level orange disk. It is stuck firmly at top of the dome. I have been looking all over this forum for an answer---I thought there was a post about the same thing not so long ago. Can you get them out to replace or can they be sorted?
Also, the two rear suspension units are leaking. I have had 6 Bx's and 4 Xants, and I have never seen any of them with even a threat of a leak. :?
On the new Cit Pr site, all sussie units up to RP number 8245 are the same, --so this suggests that from the earliest Xant to that number are the same ( his is 8060 ). That being the case, we will get a pr from a scrappy. The car is NON Hydractive.
Thanks,
Greg
