Hi MIke,

No, unfortunately but one from a MK I will be just the job. There is no difference in the rams between marks.

before you condemn the ram completely, check exactly where it is leaking. The leakage return spigot has a tendency to fracture and although it's not easy, it can be repaired. Given the expense and rarity, these rams should only be written off if the ram itself is leaking. A fractured leakage return can loose a lot of LHM.

I once saw some puictures of a repaired ram and how to do the repair in French I think but cannot recall where.

I don't know my Activas very well ...yet, but is the rear the same
as the front? There's a S2 Activa just turned up in my local scrappy
that's complete APART FROM the very item you want, the driveshafts,
the leather seats and the alloys. More directed towards Richard,
what do I really need to blag as some urgency before I repent at
my leisure later if I miss it!?

Are the strut tops and HP pump any different to the VSX? Which
bits are left that are rocking horse poo rare? The yard is very
reasonably priced as I'm a regular?

My Xantia Activa went to Smiths of Bloxham, near Banbury. Don't know if its still there though.

Been gone a year now, but maybe worth a try.

No they are very different.

I'd grab the rear ram (be careful with the vulnerable return pipe).

I believe the strut top's are different but the pump isn't, take a look at the front wishbones as they are different and cost £70+ each, also the roll corrector linkage and maybe the ecu's.
