I'd be grateful if you'd give me your thoughts on this issue. It's not a Citroen but it is a 1.9TD in a Pug with an unfortunate taste for drinking its own oil

hi Jim I have definately done a 405 turbo with no probs in situ..
support and take RH engine mounting off, will allow engine to be pulled forwards, helps no end..
it was some years ago, I suspect I removed inlet manifold then exhaust manifold / turbo ..
be slightly careful, some auto cars have turbos slighty nearer to header pipe as there are no gear control rods ... right pain if you dont know
although only I could buy a turbo from an auto, they are not exactly common
