The transmission was rebuild a few months ago, no software upgrade has been done. the gears seems to be sliding when ever the engine reaches above 3000 rpms. when i set the lever manualy on 3 it's better even though the car doesn't seem to have a lot of power going up-hills.
In short - it seems like the car changes gears too soon even in sport mode. The 'kickdown' also doesn't seem to be working.
I bought the car yesterday and today i went to the garage to find the problem - they found out that there is 1 liter excess oil, and drained it.
The car seems to behave a little better but still not good.
The computer doesn't show any faults in the transmission.
Can anyone please show me the light?

Take it for what it's worth, but if it were me, I'd be firstly checking which ATF is in it to be 100% certain it's the correct stuff.
Over here, they had this fettish about running Dexron 111 in all autos with the result that most didn't get past 100 K klms and did weird things in the process.
I'm not certain which fluid your box takes, (it should tell you in the handbook) but to me, if someone can rebuild an auto and not get a basic matter like fluid level correct, I'd be quite concerned that other things may also need a double check and that ATF type would be the first I would check.

Here, we have the importer of the brand, and he has a chain of garages that are approved by the importer, they use parts and oils that are considered original and nothing else, so i didn't ask for the ATF type.
I assume they used the correct one (..original).
The guy that rebuilt the box does not work for the head garage, i will call him today and ask him about that ATF.
Thanks.
