C5 TIMING BELT

HI
Nice and easy question .what sort of mileage do the belts need to be changed on a 2.2 hdi ?

100 000 miles. Says in book to be carried out on:
All vehicles and RElay HDi every 75,000/80,000 miles except other Hdi engines, every 100,000 miles.

and i thought i was going to have some fun just clocked 70 k so another 30 k to go ,think ill change it around 80-85k just to be on the safe side

Wow, you gonna change it yourself? I am impressed. I can change wiper blades.

yep try to do as much as possible ,changed the belt on the xantia not so long back just got more plastic covers on the c5 to remove now thats the time consuming bit .Mot next month so want it in the garage so i can have a look round to see if theres anything major wrong apart from 2 new tyres at the back,just have to get me dads car out of there first just done the bearings on his car.
