Ok Was going to do my handbrake cable and when I noticed that my Exhaust system is on its last legs lots of rot and small holes on the rear box and more on the front pipe and Cat.
Now it’s a 1999 HDI and I wasn’t sure if they are still required to have a CAT?
I Noticed on the Euro parts site
704545301 CENTRE BOX CITROEN XANTIA 2.OHDI CENTRE BOX CITROEN XANTIA 2.OHDI Centre Box & Pipe
705545011 REAR BOX CITROEN XANTIA 2.0 93-01 REAR BOX CITROEN XANTIA 2.0 93-01 Rear Silencer
Would that just be a direct replacement for the current system e.g. unbolt the current one at the back of the manifold and pop the new one in, or am I missing something?
Thanks
In advance

As far as the MOT goes no diesel is required to have a cat. The problem is you can't buy a front pipe "off the shelf" for an HDi that doesn't already have a cat on it!Lucifer wrote: Now it’s a 1999 HDI and I wasn’t sure if they are still required to have a CAT?

i got a stainless steel exhaust on mine and i had the option of leaving the cat on or putting a straight through pipe if you go down the straight pipe the turbo will spin up slightly faster.
