Front discs c5

Post by TOMTOM »

Can anyone tell me the min. recommended front disc thickness for a 2litre c5 diesel? Mine are down to 23mm, the garage said they will need changing before very much longer.
Thanks in advance.

When my daughter put her Xsara in for its 12000 mile service (purely for the warranty) she was told to bring it back in four months time to change the brake pads. I looked at them and decided they didn't need changing. I did change them at 35000 miles and two years later.
The original thickness of your C5 front discs was 28mm and the minimum should be 26mm. Rear thickness is 14mm and min is 12mm.
