C5 frnt anti-roll bar bush

Post by Kursaal Flyer »

Hi,

my C5 HDi 110 at its last MoT test got an advisory saying the n/s front anti-roll bar bush was worn.
Well, its nearly MoT time again and I was wondering if anybody can tell me whether this is likely to be an expensive job to get done?
If so I'll have to put it in for the test and see what happens.

Thanks in advance

John

Hi JT,

don't have the bit of paper with me but from memory it just said "slight wear to anti-roll bar bush." Or it might have said "slight wear to anti-roll bar linkage bush."
I'll check tonight!

Sounds more like a drop link.
They should be cheap enough to buy from GSF and are easy to fit.
But you may need a ball joint seperator to release the old one.
If you can get a look at a Haynes manual for a Xantia it will give you the details. It's the same droplink!
