XM hissing noise

I have a citroen xm 1995 with the hydractive 2 suspension. Does anybody know what the loud hissing noise is and how to stop it?
There are also some other problems with the suspension:
It goes hard from the right hand side whiles turning at low speed.
Also the suspension jumps whiles it's going down from the highest to the lowest position.

Hi,
If you could be a little more precise about when this hissing occurs, someone may be able to enlighten you. If it only happens when you're steering, it's probably normal. The power steering in the xm makes a noise like that.
Not sure about the other problems though.

Hello,
Okay to be a bit more precise. This hissing noise from the front of the car is only coming when the car is standing still (whiles the engine is on) or when coming down from speed. When you accelerate or steer it seems to go away.
Could it be the electrovalve?
Could it be a blockage?
If anyone knows please reply.
