hello, ive got a 1989 ax gt which aslo suffer s from the stalling problem you described. it happens after around 30mins of driving, you pull up to a set of lights and the car will randomly start to idle irratically, again once it stalled it will start straight back up again a will be ok.
my car has got a stromberg twin choke with a pipercross pancake airfilter, ive just replaced all the flexible fuel lines and fitted a "filter king" fuel regulator.....but it still does it.
I also have another problem with my brakes which has just started today, without the brake servo connected to the inlet manifold the brakes work and release, but as they should. But whrn i connect the servo vacum pipe back to the inlet manifold the brake come on and stay on even when the pedal is released.....is this a problem with my servo or th ebrake pedal linkage.....and could this be affected my idling......thanks for any replies
