hello, ive got a xantia td and the fuel bulb needs pumping in the mornings to start it. ive read that you can get a non return valve to fit in the system. can anybody tell me where to get one from ( lincos / halfords etc ) geof.

Cant help you with a non return valve I'm afraid, but that't only treating the symptoms. You obviously have an air leak some where, allowing the fuel to drain back to the tank. Check all the fuel pipe joints for tightness and also the fuel filter cover, also the leak off pipes or possibly the fuel bulb itself. If you can park your car for a while facing steeply downhill, the leak should manifest itself as fuel leakage.
you can buy the non return valves of e bay but i would agree you are better of fixing the problem rather than the sympton ........
