Can anyone tell me the easiest route to take a cable from inside the car to the engine compartment.

what size is the cable & what is it for ?
there are some spare wires already passed through the bulkhead that come out above the BSI.
DO NOT use the big grommet at the left hand side above the BSI as it will almost certinly leak water into the BSI & you really dont want that, just ask loads of taxi drivers with C5's that have found this out the hard way.
