Xantia 2.0 HDi W reg

I have a running issue. It WILL run fine, but will struggle to start and stalls intermittently whilst driving. It will then re-start, but will then stall/cut out after another few miles.

What is wrong here please?

Is it hard to change the in-tank pump in an estate?

Hi, on my C5 it wasnt that hard as access is quite easy. The screw ring securing the pump can be a a bit stiff to get off and back on again, as it's a very tight fit on the thread.
