xantia radio code
Can anyone help me to find the code for my radio. It is a 3035 and the model is PU-1561 A. The serial number is 0016535 and it has another number above the serial which is 96 279398 80 The radio was working when I bought the car but I had to get a new battery and now it needs the code putting in. Any help would be appreciated. Geoffb.

From what I have learned on the forum about radio codes, it seems that they are a real can of worms to be avoided if at all possible... to date I have always used a second battery to keep the memos active when changing, or just leave the battery connected when changing alternators and take very special care about possible consequences.
On the rare occasions (checking aircon) that the car goes to a garage(!), I give strict instructions on the subject.

For Clarion it tells me to enter the last four digits of the barcode, if there are two bar codes, use the lower one Confused
Using the last four digits of the serial number gives a code of 1163

I've heard of people assuming the same of their units only to find they weren't following the correct sequence, but if you're upgrading, what will you do with the Clarion? 8)geoffb wrote:Thank you Mike I have decided to get a adaptor for a standard radio as I think mine might be no good I only get 4 lines when I turn it on and cannot enter the code. geoffb
