Xantia back suspension

Post by fangy »

Hello,
Could someone tell me what the plastic clip is called on the back suspension of a Xantia, It's the one in the middle of the car with the a cup at each end that pops onto two kind of balljoints, when it pops of the back of the car doesn't rise. I need to buy a new one but don't know what to ask for.
Thanks,
Fangy.

I just bought the front version - don't know if they're the same part.

Part number: 529103
Description: Correction L (I think they ran out of space and it's called CORRECTION LINK but they should easily determine it when you say plastic arm thingy for the rear height corrector
Price: 1.69 + Vat = £1.99

5291 03 CORRECTION LINK
5273 12 SEAL WASHER

The seal washer is a small felt washer that must be wetted with grease, and fitted before the plastic link arm. This is to protect and keep the small dap of grease you smear into the link arm cup before fitting.

Both parts are laughing cheap - for once 8)

A case of Act in haste, repent at leisure, methinks. I regret omitting the washer and don't have that number on my invoice

No - its the genuine parts numbers & customer rates from your local Cit dealer.
GSF wont have these somewhat special parts. They only stock parts with a reasonable high turnover.

PS : the felt washer would be some 35p incl vat. No fear then 8)
