Hi, on the heater on my wifes Xantia (Climate Control) I seem to be able to get varying temperatures from cold to hot through the face vents. only cold air blows from the floor and windscreen vents. Also it seems that the face level vents are open all the time and only closed off from the thumbwheel on the vent itself. Is this correct?
I had the dash partly out to see if I could find anything, but time ran out as she needed the car and so couldn't check everything.
Any ideas anyone.

Sounds as though one of the flaps isn't working, the temperature control is motorised, but I think I am right in saying that the others are cable controlled by the levers on the panel. If you have a completely electronic panel (dont know to much about Xantias as I have XMs) then its is probably a servo motor fault.
