Synergie wheels

I have a 1996 synergie 1.9td with after market alloys on. I have to visit a garage twice a week to top up the pressures in the tyres as the wheels 'leak'. I had some sort of sealant gudge put in the tyres/on the wheels but it has'nt really worked. The rears are'nt too bad but the fronts lose about a pound of pressure a day. So I am after some original steel wheels to put back on there with some really nasty plastic trims. I cant find any for love nor money locally. Some people tell me that Ford 5 stud wheels will fit - but I dont want to make a costly mistake. Does anybody know if there are wheels from other cars that will fit mine please?
