The only xantias with bosch pumps are the 1.9tds :(

Yes, but the 2.1 mechanical pump is basically the same as the 1.9 if they are both turbo.

It is possible to fit a Bosch pump to a 2.1 Epic. One of the XM-L members has done it. Sounds like the best of both worlds if you can source the pump. I was offered a new one for £250.

I have never tried it but I dont see why not, although you will have to change the injector pipes as well as the injection order is different on the Bosch pump. I fitted a Bosch pump in place of a CAV on a BX some years ago and found the the back plate will accomodate either, with two alternative sets of holes.
