two electrical problems on 94 Xantia

after replacing the heater core (what a job) I have two electrical problems I cant fix.

One is I have no rear intermitent wiper. The button light does not come on ever (not even with the rest of the buttons at night). Is there a relay I could have noqued off?

Second is that the rear foglight switch is no longer lighted at night. It comes on when pressed.

Are there two usual problems?

I'd say one or both of the connectors have come off the back of the switch..

That's the first thig I checked when I was assembling the dashboard.

Anyway, I'll have to dissassemble it next week because I left some parts misinstalled and ran out of time (wifes car and she needed it) and I'll triple check everything...
