Snapped off!.

I was just parking my car, and because some idiots dont park within the lines, i was forced to try and get as close to the pillar as possible in the car park on the other side. Anyway, refersiing in and it slightly caught the trim, forcing it off completley. It looks as if the clips have snapped, is there anyway i can get this back on?

Replace the broken clips. Those can be got from your dealer. You will have to remove the interior door trim to do the job.

A 'quick and dirty' alternative is silicone sealant.

Just use a thin layer, and hold the trim with masking tape overnight to allow it to cure.

Here's an option I slapped in the Handy Hints section of the forum in the past day or so.
I've been meaning to do that for a while now since I did a few around last Christmas and your posting jolted my memory.

the clips are only pennies form the dealer and a pair of pliers prises out any still in the door, I had to get some for my n/s rear door.
