Here's something I thought of the other day.
Did Citroen actually prduce a ZX without a sunroof?
All the ones I've seen have them & I remember when I change the headlining in mine the roof was pressed to take the sunroof, where as my 106, the roof has been cut to fit the roof & I know you can get that without one.
ZX Question

As a matter of interest, does anyone know the total European production figures for the ZX ?
I had a look online but couldn't find any answers.
In my part of the country, there are still pro rata quite a few on the road.
I also understand they were still being built in China by Dongfeng and in
Uruguay by Citroen.
All this must surely point to the ZX being a good design that has lasted the course.

Wasn't the ZX very closely related to the early 306, i'm sure it had the same chassis and suspension, and the same engines. How popular was the 306? I still turn my head and there is on there, my cousin has had 3, personally i'd have the ZX, my bro had a 1.9TD and that was pretty damn nippy, and it's handling was quite cool, especially with the weird squatting when pulling the handbrake, i'm sure the 306 didn't do that. Can't help with the figures of the ZX sorry.
