ZX Cental locking

I have a '92 ZX with the remote central locking, but with a problem which is when using the remote the drivers door will not lock/unlock. All the other doors lock/unlock, but when the drivers door doesn't do it's thing the rest do the opposite.

Everything works when using the key and working the button up and down from inside the car.

I understand the central locking doesn't work from the passenger door when the remote locking is fitted?

Anyway, how can I get it working again?

Sounds the same as mine - either the driver's lock mechanism is sticky (unlikely given that it is the most used with the key), or the motor has failed or is too weak.

I replaced the driver's door motor on mine and all is well now.

I've just picked a new c/l motor off ebay.

So time to get the door panel off....

Getting the panel off is the easy bit!

I must confess that I got my garage to change mine

- my hands are a bit too big, and I didn't fancy having NO locking!
