thanks for your reply f00lz....

I meant I cant seem to find the part I am after on the website.... and I have no idea what the part it is called.... I want a rough idea of how much it is and if I can source it before tuesday.... also if anyone knows of any places where I could get a 2nd hand one.... or if it is worth using a 2nd hand one....

I realise these are probably of little use to you unfortunately as they're for an XM box which is a different ZF model variant, but they'll give you an idea of the contents/complexity of the box - the oil pump is the first flange casting to the right of the gasket in the top picture...

I have finally thrown in the towel and I am going to let her go....

I cant find anyone near me to fix the gear box or even have a proper look at it.... so if anyone wants her she is all yours....

Sorry to hear that you have given up hope.

Is it a mk1 or a mk2?

If it is to be broken up, let us know where, because used V6 bits are hard to find.

I have had quite a few responses and would like to thank everyone for the info and help....

and yes it is sad to let her go.... but i would rather she was of help to others rather than just being scrapped....

I dont know if it is a MK1 or a MK2.... how can you tell????

it doesnt have the new type bonnet if that helps....

it had a major service about 6 months ago....

new auto tentioner and pulley wheels....
new rear Citroen Spears....
A new exhast.... the end part and middle box.... which were a pain to source....
the interior is all leather and immaculate....
10 CD autochanger....
the front / back side windows and rear window are tinted....
5 x original citroen alloys....

I am in high wycombe.... which is on the M40 J4....
