In my dismantling of various Xantiae in the past, the ventilation slider control panel has
always been a right fiddle to actually extricate from the surrounding dash frame - IIRC
there's lugs which are part of the main dash over the front of the panel.
Anyhow, a pal wants me to give him a hand replacing the panel on his car as I removed
it off a car in the yard - thing is - the car had most of it's dash all dismembered and the
control slider panel was actually loose and accessible.
Is there a knack to it's removal, bearing in mind I don't fancy breaking anything or
dismantling the whole dash on my pals' car...
It's an aircon model if it means anything to anybody...
BTW, The cabling disconnection is the least of my worries!!
