xantia td fuel pump priming bulb

Hi

the priming bulb on my 94 xantia 1.9td has got lucas written all over it. does the bosch pump use the lucase priming bulb as i was certain my fuel pump was the bosch pump

The primer bulb is a primer bulb - no matter the system make or primer bulb manufacture.
Bet your local diesel specialist would stock a bulb. Or try your local marine engine specialist.

my question was, because i've got the lucas bulb does it mean i've got a lucas fuel pump?

Very unlikely on a TD. Most had the Bosch Pump.

Easiest way to tell is to eyeball the pump. If it has a "Flying Saucer" on the top of it with a pipe going off from the top of the "Flying Saucer" to the "hot" turbo trunking then it's a Bosch pump.

Lucas pumps are normall flat at the top.
