berlingo multispace - supplier of new door locks needed

Post by scrutt »

Hello

I've got a Citroen Berlingo Multispace Forte, 2000. It doesn't have central locking and unfortunately the locks on the boot and the drivers side door no longer work. Euro Car Parts say they don't sell them, and my local Citroen dealer wants over £200 + vat for locks for both front doors and the boot, which seemed excessive. I'd be grateful if anyone can advise where will do these at a reasonable price.

Regards

untill recently citroen door locks were supplied blank & then the dealer built the lock to suit the key,the problem is citroen now only supply the dealers with locks already built up to the key number & they cost a fortune compared to the blank locks (must not have been making enough money on the blank locks).sorry i don know any other suppliers but in the meantime why not swap the front door locks from side to side so you have a working drivers lock.keep it lubricated with WD-40.

Take a look at http://www.aepdirect.com/ lock sets from £56 + VAT :D

I used them recently and had good service.
