citroen-pr net help

Post by john alexander »

Hi , could I ask one of our members to look up pr net for the air con hoses which connect to the compressor. I.have a goosed harrison 1135253 which has screw on pipes but some have a harrison 1135290 which has pad fittings . i would like to see if the pipe set up can be changed to give me more choice. Yes I know it helps if I tell you the car , it's a xantia 1.9 td 1996 VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. THANKS IN ADVANCE JOHN.

As I understand the parts listing and notes - you will have to choose either screw or clamp fittings on both compressor and hoses. You can not mix the 2 types of fittings.

That said - either type A/C setup should readily go into a MkI 19TD Xantia.

Why not register yourself with PRnet? You don't need to be a dealer, just make up anything for a company name and you're registered. You can also change the size of the pictures then as well. Worth it's weight in dead spheres....... :)

Save the image on your PC - then edit the size in any image editor (paint/imaging/kodak etc..) - and print it out 8)

My printer (Canon all in one) came with a program called 'Easy Web Print' which works with Internet Explorer and organises nice prints for you - columns for long documents, fast print (uses less ink) previews etc.

It doesn't seem to work with Mozilla Firefox but this has its own version instead which is similar.

Hi checked prices of aircon hoses at main dealer today , depending on type either £343.76 or£282.22. but managed to find correct compressor in FALLONS COATBRIDGE for £45. In case anyone needs a harrison 1135290 Pad fitting ALEX McMEECHAN at RAVENSTRUTHER near LANARK has a nearly new one for £40. by the way RAVENSTRUTHER is pronounced RENSTRIE . Regards john.

"ALEX McMEECHAN at RAVENSTRUTHER near LANARK"

Which is only about 5 miles from my house, so I can collect if necessary....!
