xantia wing mirror arm replacement

Post by dan_the_v8man »

Hi

i've got a 94 xantia 1.9 td

does any one know a rough sort of price and where i can get the replacement arm that the wing mirror (passanger side) is attached to the body of the car by? not the actual mirror as that is intact.

also is it a pig of a job to replace?

Cheers

Dan

Assume it's manual adjust? You can only buy a complete new mirror - but they're not that expensive - £30 or so I think from GSF. Takes about 1 hour to fit as you need to remove the door card. It comes complete with new adjuster and cables as well, so will probably work better than it has done for a good while!

German Swedish and French - national chain of motor factors specialising in G. . .S. . .& French cars.

Have a good website and on-line shop. Another similar organisation is Euro Car Parts. - You'll find both via Google.
