The dash was assembled outside and then 'transported' on electric controlled arm thro' the drivers/passengers door opening...

Yes, coincidentally just seen that on TV here tonight, about the local car manufacturing industry being in trouble.
In through the driver’s side opening without door, and the door goes in afterwards.
Previously seen it going in through the windscreen opening, but didn't see what make of car it was.

Probably both local makes.
