Help needed finding a xantia mk2 at a breakers

Post by rdj104 »

As you will see if you look at my post in the for sale/wanted section the other day, I'm trying to find some bits for my xantia as I desperately need to reassemble it.

Basically I need to find a breakers that has one of the higher spec, (pref exclusive) in stock for the interior bits I need.

I've put out all the partfinder etc. type requests, scoured ebay, and got nothing back yet, except the offer of a brand new front foglight for £65!!

So anyone know of any citroen breaker specialists etc....?

Cheers
Richard

Hi Richard,

This might be as much help as no help, but I used to go to a great Cit scrappy near Duxford (South Cambs) on the A505.

Sadly, as it's years since I was last there I can't remember what it was called.

Try Google.

Cheers

Thanks for the lead Steve,

Being over near Baldock myself, that's not far away from me.

Could it be C Cars in Sawston you are thinking of?

as shown on the map here on yell?

Cheers

Or maybe it was BSL autoparts
even closer to Duxford!

Well I can always give both of them a ring in the morning.

You could give Spanners a call- 01992471811. They're in Roydon, Herts. He's a one man band who used to break BX's but now there's little demand for BX bits he mainly breaks Xantias.

Last time I was over there he had 6 or 7 Xantias in various stages of dismemberment, I couldn't say if they were late or early however.

BSL Autoparts, that's the fella.

Near Duxford Services, a Cit main dealer that's actually not out to rip you off.

Happy hunting,
