C5 door lock

i have a 2002 c5 2.0hdi sx.in the last week the rear drivers side door won't unlock with the central locking off the remote.i can unlock it by operating the interior handle and it stays unlocked.it then locks ok with the remote.has anyone any ideas :?

You could try disconnecting the battery for five or ten minutes. That seems to be the cure for many of C5's foibles.

If not a new actuator on that door maybe

I have the same problem with one of the rear door: locks ok, but doens't always unlock.
I have removed the lock and noticed the solenoid does not always energize. Left it there, as Citroën charges me 130€ for a complete lock (the locks have an integrated locking mechanism, it's a complete substitution :( ).

just an update,the lock on the rear door has suddenly started working ,confusing :? thanks for all your input.
