C5 Hydractive (6 Spheres) Hard Ride
Among other Citroens I had 2 XM's on comfort spheres. Even after 5 years I still find my C5 hard, maybe the leather seats don't help. What's this about 1.8 spheres?? Do all 6 have to be changed or is it only the front? Can you give me a part No. for the 1.8 spheres if these will help. Thanks

Being the guy who did this, i cannot advise you to put other spheres but the ones specified for your model.
I choose the 1.8l spheres for my 2.0HDI, standard HA3, because they share the same pressure, but the damping is softer on the 1.8l.
The spheres have *very* different specs wheter they are HA3 or HA3+.
Sorry if i can't be of more help

Hi C5IAM
I have just purchased some Comfort Spheres for my Hydractive (Not + and hence 4 spheres) C5 2.0 HDi.
Not fitted yet as I aim to do them in a couple of weeks time.
Check out the link below.
I bought them from a German Store via E-Bay

These are for the Hydractive +
I would suggest that you change all 6.
What type of mileage is on the car?
Mine is now at approx 125K and the rears need changing for sure.

Thanks for the info. I had heard that it was alright to exchange just the front two spheres for extra comfort. I'll hold fire at the moment and see what other suggestions come up. Yes Ben, I am an advanced driver and I can reccomend the course for all drivers. As an advanced driver you are 70% less likely to be involved in a collision/incident. Using the techniques advocated makes every journey much more interesting.
