Hi all, Just noticed that the front drivers side strut on my '02 C5 2.0L HDI is wet. I am not sure if it is hydraulic fluid or not as it does not have the distinctive smell of LDS. Whatever it is it appears to be coming down from underneath the rubber sleeve at the top of the strut.
If it is LDS is it a big job to fix. I would imagine a seal of some sort needs replacing.
Also, has anyone out there removed the LDS resevoir?
Is it a difficult job. The tank sits on top of the pump, does that mean that pipes have to be clamped?
I would appreciate any info.
