how can i remove both covers of the side mirrors on the c5 mk1? i want to paint them but i dont know how to remove them..
any clues?

They are a PITA to be honest-easy to fit and awkward to get off. First of all you have to remove the mirror glass itself, which needs very careful levering out so as not to break it. You can then see the securing clips for the cover which need to be VERY GENTLY prised off. They are incredibly easy to snap- don't ask how I know 
The cover can then be pulled away, but probably best to do this on a warm day when the plastic is at its most flexible.
